Tignes in the SUMMER

Have just got back from a fantastic week of mountain walking and summer skiing. Get up early and ski the glacier from 8.30 to 2.00pm, cant beat it. In the afternoon go up to the parc de la vanoise and go marmot spotting, see chamois and various other wild animals! Drive over the col de l'iseran and hold your breath when belting down the mountain roads to val d'isere, shit do we ski down there in winter it looks far more formidable when not covered in fluffy white stuff. Love it!!!!!!

The 31st of December of 2007: guess who's coming to mix?See in the New Year with Martin Solveig and David Vendetta on the decks!

From the 7th to the 11th of January of 2008: Tignes Airwaves season 4!For the fourth year in a row, Tignes is organising the ultimate event for the top riders on the international snowsports that involve skis, boards and wheels!

February 2008: the green option!The Electric Motor Show is for the first time in Tignes les Brévières.

From the 8th to the 12th of March of 2008: Tignes planet freeride!Tignes is hosting the AFP World Tour 2008 (Association of Professional Freeriders) which attracts the world's 44 top freeriders to the French event on the new world freeride circuit.
